" Libraries are the lifeline to reading. And reading is the lifeline to the world. My own earliest memories include my first trip to the Central Library of Philadelphia where I received my first library card which was my first round trip ticket to everywhere. Needless to say I love libraries and love to read to children in this most wonderful of environments."Storytime for Phynix at the library is approximately one hour. Phynix and Anansi along with other puppet friends read from, sing songs written for and project illustrations of award winning books. Some are funny, some astounding, some are true. All are amazing. Parents who so lovingly attend to their children's educational needs are as entertained as their children. Because of the multi-media approach, Storytime appeals to children in strollers as well as to those who are normally reading at the sixth grade level.
