 A percussion piece with a melody that is played  on a  marimba-like instrument.  Africans have played an instrument for thousand of years or more called 'balafon' by the Susu people of Guinea and various other names, but essentially the same instrument. This has evolved into the modern marimba.

This piece came up from some of my ancestors, I think.
